Stephanie has been teaching people with alignment problems and therapeutic ailments for 30 years and has found that these problems can be solved through a better understanding of the body. Sometimes your body tries to protect you through compensation, but this can often cause more pain, tension, and pull on your initial problem. The Mindful Kinetics Program identifies those problem areas and teaches you how to undo damage and protect yourself from further injury or misalignment. The program utilizes many tools -- pilates reformers, weight training, mat work, barre work, Stretch-eze®, blocks, rollers, balls, dance and more -- whatever is needed for your particular program.
The program works with individuals looking to increase strength and flexibility, those seeking to recover from injury, as well as with a range of professionals -- athletes, artists, actors, dancers, and teachers -- who want to become more proficient and effective in their craft.
We recommend a Personal Fitness Assessment as the starting point. It will help you understand where your body is compensating, and give you creative solutions and excercises to help relieve those problems. Together, we will chart a course that will bring you to freedom and joy in movement, quickly and enjoyably.
